On your initial visit Dr. Talmadge will review your medical history and the current problems you are experiencing to determine if
chiropractic care may benefit you. You will also be asked about your family history and other treatment you may have already
received for this problem. Dr. Talmadge will perform the appropriate examinations necessary to best determine the extent of
your problems. Once your examination is completed, xrays of the problem areas may be taken, analyzed for structural
integrity and explained to you, which in most cases will be done on the initial visit. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances,
you may be required to return on a later date. This may also occur when it is necessary to refer you for diagnostics outside
of our office.
If it is determined that your case may best be helped with chiropractic care, a treatment schedule will be recommended
and you will receive your first treatment.
If your case does not appear to be a chiropractic case, Dr. Talmadge will refer you
to the appropriate specialist.
